My name is Dominica and I am a fully qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, based in the Bradford/Leeds area.


I understand that taking the first step can be difficult. It is quite common that people have mixed feelings about starting therapy, such as feeling unsure about the therapy process, feeling hesitant about ‘opening up’ and revealing information about themselves, some may worry about being ‘judged’ by the therapist.


The first step is always the hardest. In fact, you have already taken the very first step by looking at my website and reading up on information that can help you decide if solution focused hypnotherapy is right for you.


If you are not sure if I can help, I am more than happy to have a chat with you and explain to you more about solution focused hypnotherapy and the therapy process. Whether you prefer it to be via email, text or a call, I am here to help.

Our sessions are very relaxed and positive and we will work together to help you reach your goals in small and achievable steps to help you to ‘Become your Best Self’. 

I have had great feedback from clients about how relaxed and ‘at ease’ they feel during our sessions and that there is no need to feel nervous.

We only work on the things that YOU want to work on and whenever you feel ready.


It is only at the Initial Consultation that I ask you some brief information about your past experiences (only the things that you wish to disclose).

From our first hypnotherapy session onwards, we will then only focus on the present and the future as solution focused hypnotherapy does not require me to ‘dig into’ your past. Instead we will talk about your best hopes and how you would like to move forward in your life.

Please note, that in order for hypnotherapy to be as effective as possible, your desire to change and your commitment to the sessions are very important as hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. So the more work you put in, the shorter the treatment will take.

Depending on your personal circumstances, your reasons for seeking hypnotherapy and how much work you are willing to put in, your hypnotherapy journey can be very quick and may only take 8-12 sessions. It is the client that determines how long the sessions will last for and you will know when you feel ready to stop the sessions.

Qualifications/ Membership:


I trained at the renowned Clifton Practice in Leeds, which is regarded as the centre of excellence for hypnotherapy training.

I was awarded the Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Diploma and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, which is considered the Gold Standard in hypnotherapy training.


I am a registered member with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH).


As a member I am committed to providing the highest standard of treatment and I am obligated to adhere to their code of ethics. You can find their Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics on the AfSFH website.


I am insured and a holder of an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service), which allows me to also work with children.


Attending regular Supervision and engaging in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) helps me to update my skills and knowledge to maximise the quality of treatment.

Whether you choose to have therapy face-face in a therapy room in Calverley, Leeds or Online via Zoom, the sessions follow the same structure and are both very effective.

It just depends if you prefer to have the therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or if you prefer to travel and do it in person.


The choice is entirely yours!

Online Therapy is as Effective as Face-Face Sessions

The advancement of technology has enabled clients to access Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from the comfort of their own homes.

Clinical Research has shown that online hypnotherapy is just as effective as face-to-face sessions. 

Online hypnotherapy is highly effective and follows the same structured approach as face-face sessions. Online sessions are treated the same way as face-face therapy to maintain the same quality and standard.  

No Travel, Stress Free and Convenient

Accessing hypnotherapy online means that you are only a ‘click’ away from starting your session. There is no need to plan your journey (whether its by car or public transport). You don’t need to worry about parking, traffic or being late for your appointment. If you have a busy schedule, you may struggle to find the time for a face-to-face session due to the time it takes to get there and back whilst balancing work, childcare and family needs. By accessing therapy from your home, you don’t need to rush from one place to the next. The only travel you might need to do is from your living room to your bedroom or any other space in which you feel comfortable and won’t be disturbed.


Online Hypnotherapy is therefore stress free, highly convenient and a real time-saver! All you need is a spare scheduled hour.


After you have booked in your session, I create a Zoom link and send it to you. To start the session, all you need to do is click on the Zoom link at the scheduled time and we are ready to start. There is no need to download the app. It is that simple!











Home Comfort
Greater Flexibility
Widely accessible

Accessing hypnotherapy from a familiar environment, such as from your home, can make you feel more relaxed and comfortable during the hypnotherapy session and can enable you to go into a deeper trance state. Laying in your own bed or sofa, wrapped in your favourite blanket and in your most comfortable clothes might give you a greater feeling of comfort and safety.  

It gives you greater flexibility in choosing how and where to have your session, such as in your bedroom, conservatory overlooking the garden or if you prefer to be on your favourite sofa in the lounge… wherever you feel most comfortable.

Distance is not an issue. If you live in a rural area, therapy services may be limited or may not be available locally. You may also experience transportation or mobility challenges. This makes online hypnotherapy an ideal choice and can also be accessed by clients who live outside of the UK.

More accessible- Anxiety and Agoraphobia

Trying something new for the first time in an unfamiliar environment with a person you have never met can trigger different levels of anxiety in people. Having the session in your own home provides you with some familiarity and comfort and it can reduce the fear of the unknown. Online therapy can be particularly helpful if you suffer from anxiety, especially social anxiety or agoraphobia, and you might find that online therapy is more suitable for you.

More accessible- Physical Limitations

Transport challenges, decreased mobility or certain health conditions may all make face to face sessions more difficult to access. Online therapy provides an easy access to individuals with physical limitations or those who are housebound.
